Madball ist eine aus New York stammende Hardcore-Punk-Band, die Stilbildend für spätere Metalcore-Gruppen war. Sänger Freddy Cricien ist der Halbbruder von Hardcore-Legende und Agnostic-Front-Sänger Roger Miret. Dank dem großen Bruder ist Cricien auch zu seinem ersten Auftritt gekommen: Im Alter von 7 Jahren zerrte ihn Miret mit auf die Bühne, und drückte ihm das Mikrofon in die Hand. Madball haben drei Alben auf Universal veröffentlicht, ihr letztes Album auf Epitaph Records, ihre letzte Single auf Thorp. Im August 2007 erschien das neue Album „Infiltrate The System“.

BORN FROM PAIN

Born From Pain gründete sich 1997 in Holland. Alle Bandmitglieder hatten zu der Zeit bereits in diversen Bands Hardcoreerfahrung gesammelt. Insbesondere Bassist Rob und Sänger Che wollten einen neuen Sound an den Mann bringen, der roh und ungeschliffen klingen sollte. Die Musik sollte „in die Fresse hauen“. Bereits kurz nach der Gründung spielten sie ihre ersten Gigs. Die erste Veröffentlichung sollte aber noch bis 1999 dauern. Da erschienen eine erste Demo mit 2 Tracks auf Vinyl. 2001 folgte dann die erste Single namens Immortality. In der Zwischenzeit wurden diverse Konzerte gespielt. Im Jahr 2002 erschien das erste Album Reclaiming the Crown der Band, welches 10 Titel enthielt und in der Fachwelt begeistert aufgenommen wurde. Es folgte eine Tour mit den Hardcoreveteranen von Hatebreed und spätestens nach der Veröffentlichung des zweiten Albums Sands of Time 2003 war klar, dass hier eine neue gute Band das internationale Parkett betreten hat. Es folgten Touren mit Terror und Madball. Nun folgten Touren in den USA und Japan. Mit der Veröffentlichung des Longplayers In Love With The End 2005 gelang der Band der Durchbruch. Es folgte die erste Headlinertour und man war Vorband für Größen wie Six Feet Under, Soulfly, Agnostic Front und Napalm Death. Seit der Veröffentlichung des letzten Albums befindet sich die Band beinahe ununterbrochen auf Tour. Allerdings fanden sie etwas Zeit ihren neuen Longplayer einzuspielen. Besonders der Sommer 2006 war dahingehend erfolgreich, dass man auf Europas größten Festivals spielte.

TRAPPED UNDER ICE

Hailing from the port city of Baltimore, Maryland comes the war-mammoth known as Trapped Under Ice, who proudly inherit and build upon the mantle of their predecessors Next Step Up and Gut Instinct. Compound this with the sonic territories explored by New York bands such as Crown Of Thornz and Breakdown, and the intent of the outfit becomes obvious—total aural brutality. Following their inception in 2007, a 5-song demo was quick to follow. That demo was also released as an EP on Flatspot Records. Hearing those songs, the crew at Reaper Records approached the band with a deal to release what would become known as the Stay Cold EP. The EP contains 6 tracks of unrelenting hardcore reality. Continuing where 2008’s “Stay Cold” EP left off, “Secrets Of The World” is the twelve-track full length from Maryland’s new standard bearers of hardcore. The album is designed to inspire self-reflection in a world that leaves you beaten and bleeding…..

WISDOM IN CHAINS

Wisdom in Chains ist eine, im Jahre 2002 gegründete, amerikanische Hardcoreband mit Metal-, Punk- und Oi!-Einflüssen. Die Bandmitglieder entstammen der amerikanischen und niederländischen Hardcoreszene. 2003 veröffentlichte die Band ihr erstes Album mit dem Namen „Wisdom in Chains“ bei Gangstyle Records, traten jedoch auf Grund der großen Distanz zwischen den Bandmitgliedern nur ein Mal auf. Nach weiteren Veröffentlichungen gingen sie 2007 mit Sick of it all auf Europatournee. Die Mitglieder von Wisdom in Chains spielten und tourten in und mit Bands wie Krutch, FCK, The Ninth Plague, Boxcutter, Out To Win, Feeble und Anderen.

ALL FOR NOTHING

All For Nothing was formed in late 2002, their first album “Start At Zero” (MCD) was released in July 2004. After a line-up change the band decided to record a 4 song demo to let fans dive into the new female fronted hardcore sound. In may 2007 All For Nothing released their first full length album “Can’t Kill What’s Inside” through Swell creek Records (GER) which received a great response from fans and media. The band played close to 300 shows all over Europe and did 2 European tours to support their album. In the fall of 2008, exactly 1,5 years after they released “Can’t Kill What’s Inside”, All For Nothing will release a new 7” on Demons Run Amok Entertainment, the MCD version will be released via WTF Records. “Solitary” contains 5 new hard-hitting hardcore punk songs. This record was produced by Mark van der Male & Willy Berreyoetes at the Avalance Studios Oost-Sourburg and Haai Faai Deluxe Labs Rotterdam on various dates during June & July 2008 and contains guest vocals by Michiel Walrave from Real Danger and Nothing Done.
