Some Like It Hot! The Spice and Variety of Californian-Mexican Cuisine
Hands-on workshop with Miguel Prieto-Valle, d.a.i. Tübingen. Join our Californian teacher Miguel Prieto-Valle for a tasty exploration of Mexican-American cuisine in this fun-filled workshop that will delight all of your senses. We will begin with an introduction to traditional staple ingredients and techniques. Participants are invited to share their experiences and get their hands in the mix in order to help prepare a sampling of sauces, side-dishes, refreshing drinks, and sopes - a versatile main course, incorporating locally available fresh flavors. After this workshop you’ll be an expert on preparing aguas frescas, frijoles negros, arroz mexicano con sazón californiano, salsa picante y más.
